Weddings

Cordero Atelier developed the creative direction for this Sangeet, conceived as a tribute to the groom’s Indian heritage and an invitation to share his culture with the bride’s family.

Scope: Creative direction, experience design, spatial design, botanical scenography, food and beverage design, talent curation, uniform design, location scouting, and guest experience.

The project is inspired by the Sangeet and the Baraat, two of the most emblematic celebrations in Indian tradition, reinterpreting their rituals through a contemporary lens while continuing to honor their cultural significance.

The day begins with a Baraat procession along the beach and evolves into a large family celebration where music, dance, and gastronomy become the language of a shared experience. Inspired by the tradition of the thali and the atmosphere of live-fire markets, dinner invites guests to discover new flavors and new ways of gathering around the fire.

Rather than recreating India, the project seeks to convey its essence through hospitality, rhythm, ritual, and collective celebration, transforming the groom’s cultural heritage into a shared experience for both families.

A wedding procession (Baraat) along the beach, a sitar accompanying dinner, and a banquet inspired by traditional live-fire markets celebrating the richness of Indian culture.
