Marta and David imagined their wedding with an aesthetic halfway between The Great Beauty by Sorrentino, long lingering meals by the Mediterranean, and, of course, Galician tradition and culture.
Our proposal began with celebrating the banquet in a typical Italian beach cabana, with red and white stripes, right by the sea. We hung the traditional seashell lamps from the island of A Toxa, the chairs were the same ones used at the popular Festa do Marisco (seafood festival) in O Grove, the ceramics had to be Sargadelos, and as a gift and to decorate the menus, we gave guests the typical necklace of small red shells sold by women along the local seaside promenades.
As a final element in this cocktail of inspiration, we incorporated French-inspired gingham tablecloths, contrasted with the ultramarine blue of the Atlantic.
