Cordero Atelier draws inspiration from mycelium—that network formed by billions of branching filaments that connects plants, flowers, and trees underground and makes life in society possible—to lead us through an impossible place. More than an art installation, what we find here is an invasive presence that, in a silent and beautiful way, seems to come to reclaim its space.

We imagine a futuristic, ideal, chimerical, fantastic, and colorful landscape, the result of major structural and physiological changes. There are not only changes in size and an increase in the number of cells, but also changes in cellular differentiation.
This mass becomes a vast interconnected mycelium that appears to communicate within itself, from which surprising varieties grow in compositions of unexpected color. Mycelium regenerates life, allows this ecosystem to live eternally, and is capable of renewing it again and again until it reaches the landscape of the future.
