La Última Sombra del Ciprés is the name of a celebration conceived by Cordero Atelier around the landscape of Fernando Caruncho’s garden. A narrative in which landscape, architecture, color, and light unfold as chapters of the same story.
A sequence of monumental sculptures, pink mist, and architectural lighting guides the celebration from the last ray of daylight to the first dance.
Scope: Creative direction, experience design, spatial design, scenography design, floral design, location scouting, and lighting design.
Pink, a color deeply rooted in Filipino culture, becomes the thread that connects the entire narrative. More than a color, it becomes a language that links every intervention, transforming the garden into a collection of artistic installations where scenography, function, and landscape merge into a single composition.
The garden is shaped through a sequence of installations conceived as inhabitable sculptures.
Each intervention defines a distinct moment within the celebration, offering a new interpretation of the landscape. A monumental six-meter pink sculpture marks the ceremony. Large pink panels frame the cocktail. A pink mist slowly rises from the garden’s ponds, drifting among the cypress trees. At the center of the banquet, a four-meter rice paper lantern gradually transforms the light as night falls. Finally, a luminous architectural installation announces the beginning of the dance.
